Randy Dunn

Vice President, Stop Loss Underwriting

Randy Dunn serves as vice president, Stop Loss Underwriting, for HM Insurance Group (HM). In this role, he leads the development, execution and monitoring of Stop Loss pricing and related strategies. His area of focus is HM’s Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes western, central and northeast Pennsylvania; West Virginia; and Delaware, as well as the Independence Blue Cross relationship.

With more than 25 years of Stop Loss underwriting experience and 20 years in a leadership role, Randy’s areas of expertise include risk assessment and mitigation and Stop Loss underwriting, as well as underwriting for life insurance, long-term disability and short-term disability. Randy joined HM in 1994 as an underwriting analyst and served as a director for 20 years.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Business Information Systems from Robert Morris University. Randy also holds HIA and MHP designations from the Health Insurance Association of America.
