Neil Reece serves as vice president and chief financial officer for Highmark’s Diversified Businesses. He supports strategic growth and financial performance goals and is responsible for financial operations and oversight — working to drive the achievement of current-year and multi-year financial commitments.

Neil’s areas of expertise include forecasting and analytics, corporate finance and accounting. Additionally, Neil is experienced in process improvement, sales operations, project management and risk.

Prior to joining HM Insurance Group in August 2023, Neil served as vice president, Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis, leading a team responsible for consolidated financials, investor relations, board reporting and incentive planning for the Highmark Health enterprise. Additionally, Neil served as director, Enrollment Forecasting and Analytics, where he led the creation of the Enrollment Center of Excellence and built a team to support the Highmark Health Plan in achieving their membership strategy goals.

Before joining Highmark, Neil served as director, Global Sales Operations and Analytics, at Mylan and also spent four years in Financial Planning and Analysis where he forecasted product performance on a global scale. Neil started his career at Johnson & Johnson in a leadership development program and completed several rotations across the company’s business segments.

Neil earned his Master of Business Administration from New York University with specializations in Finance, Accounting and Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) as well as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
