Wade Riddle serves as chief actuary, HM Insurance Group (HM). In this role, he leads the Actuarial Services team and guides the company’s efforts to develop and maintain leading-edge pricing tools, valuation methodologies, advanced analytics and optimal capital efficiency.
Wade’s areas of expertise include pricing, reserving, reinsurance, CMR, risk assessment, data mining and modeling various insurance lines, including Employer Stop Loss.
He joined HM in 2025 from Canada Life Reinsurance Company where he was a pricing actuary. His work experience includes time in actuarial services roles with several other top insurance companies, including PartnerRe America Insurance Company, Munich Re, Cigna and Aetna – as well as leadership experience at Guy Carpenter.
Wade holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from The Pennsylvania State University and has attained the Fellowship of Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation, the highest level of professional qualification for actuaries in North America. Additionally, Wade is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
